{"id":35,"date":"2009-10-02T14:25:08","date_gmt":"2009-10-02T13:25:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apptrawler.com\/?p=35"},"modified":"2023-03-09T16:06:12","modified_gmt":"2023-03-09T15:06:12","slug":"south-park-mega-millionaire-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apptrawler.com\/south-park-mega-millionaire-review\/","title":{"rendered":"South Park Mega Millionaire &#8211; Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m a huge fan of the South Park television show, so when I learned that a South Park game was available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, I knew I&#8217;d be getting it.\u00a0 .99 price tag be damned!<\/p>\n<p>The premise is simple: the boys are participating in a Japanese game show where they have to perform ludicrous stunts on rollerskates usually through some sort of maze for paltry prizes.\u00a0 It sounds like a television episode.<\/p>\n<p>When the game begins, the sound is set to off which is usually the opposite of how most iPhone games begin.\u00a0 However, I can understand why.\u00a0 This game allows the user to play any audio on his or her iPhone or iPod Touch.\u00a0 My only disappointment with this game is much like my one for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whatsoniphone.com\/reviews\/toy-story-mania-review\">Toy Story game<\/a>.\u00a0 Nobody talks.\u00a0 There is no use of the voices at all and that&#8217;s disappointing.\u00a0 Either Matt Stone and Trey Parker were unavailable to record audio or they weren&#8217;t involved with the creation of this game (which would be a shame because it seems like their style).<\/p>\n<p>To navigate through the mazes, you simple have to tilt the device in a particular direction and tap the screen to jump.\u00a0 There are a myriad of levels and mazes to get through.\u00a0 When you finish a level trophies are awared which contain show references like Chinpokomon.<\/p>\n<p>The game could be offensive to some but I find it hilarious and very much in the spirit of the show and the game itself is quite addictive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick Take<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Value:<\/strong> Excellent<br \/>\n<strong>Would I Buy Again:<\/strong> Absolutely.<br \/>\n<strong>Learning Curve:<\/strong> Low.<br \/>\n<strong>Who Is It For:<\/strong> South Park lovers and those who like maze games.<br \/>\n<strong>What I Like:<\/strong> The game.\u00a0 The backstory.\u00a0 The patter between the kids and the host.<br \/>\n<strong>What I Don&#8217;t:<\/strong> No sound.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Final Statement:<\/strong> A great game for the iPhone or iPod Touch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m a huge fan of the South Park television show, so when I learned that a South Park game was available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, I knew I&#8217;d be getting it.\u00a0 .99 price tag be damned!
